Suffering.When no one else is looking My mask slowly slips away Tears cascade down my broken face. A heavenly voice speaks in my head,Suffering.
Spreading his lies. I’m laying there waiting for my time, I am slowly dying inside. Like a corpse in a fancy wooden box, I am fading away into nothing. Keep me quiet now, The suffering had just begun.
Painful.It’s painful, I swear. It hurts… The breath is cut right out of me My eyes burn With each ragged breath… I cry out.Painful.
The outside looks no different. There is a mask in place, The pain is held inside Where slowly it grows spikes. It breathes in me, It laughs at me.
My pitiful attempt at closure It helps none. It is growing inside me Harvesting all my pain The tears never come And the red rivers inside are turning black.
